Member State

The GDPR lists member states or countries that have chosen to comply with the regulation. This includes countries within the European Union—Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden as well as countries that fall within the European Economic Area—Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway. These countries along with the United Kingdom, England, Channel Isles, Scotland, Wales, and Ireland form the member states of the GDPR.
